Free COVID Testing
If you are a craft beer fan and would like to see breweries, restaurants, bars, wineries, and distilleries survive, you should get tested. The Arizona Department of Health Services has structured the opening of businesses to county COVID metrics. We need all Arizonans –healthy and those with symptoms– to test to obtain an accurate picture of the virus.
Arizona has some of the finest testing programs in the country. You do not need to have symptoms. The testing is efficient, safe, and there are quick turnarounds on results. Many are drive-thru. In many cases, results are turned in 12 hours, but generally within 36.
There has clearly been an uptick in testing due to the holidays and places are busier than normal. Don’t be discouraged. Keep trying!

It is recommended that those traveling check with their airline and state or destination they are traveling to in order to see if a COVID-19 test is required.
The City of Phoenix is also using Federal CARES Act funding, through the end of December, to supplement the cost of testing for Phoenix residents who do not have health insurance that covers the service. Residents can pre-book their appointments in advance or come in for a walk-up visit. XpresCheck will verify the patient’s residency at the time of the test.
