BARREL GRAVY: An Imperial Stout collaboration with one of our favorite Valley breweries, Wren House. This batch started with sourcing some of the finest malted grains found in the United States of America from Admiral Maltings in Alameida, California which lend to the impeccable mouthfeel and roasted malt character of this barrel-aged ale. It then went to rest in hand-selected barrels from the Buffalo Trace lineage, specifically Blanton’s Bourbon and E.H. Taylor Bourbon. The result is a deeply complex yet harmonious no-frills barrel-aged stout that warms you up as you take it down. The recipe called for nothing more than beer, barrels, and time so the drinker has every opportunity to deconstruct the source of all the complexities of this behemoth beverage. Available in very limited quantities so don’t waste any time when seeking out this once-in-a-lifetime beer
