BWDA members have the honor and privilege of being entrusted with all aspects of the distribution of some unique consumer products — beverage alcohol products — specifically thousands of brands of beer and wine products.

Distributors (also called wholesalers) provide the critical link in the American beer and wine distribution system for providing adult consumers with the choice they desire at a great value and ensuring a safe and orderly marketplace. That means doing everything from receiving beer and wine products from various brewers, vintners, producers and importers — to safely storing and warehousing those products — to delivering and packaging for sale to consumers in a wide array of retail settings — to handling product rotations and returns — and so much more.

Our distributor members are independent, privately-held businesses that are specially licensed by the State of Arizona. Nearly all of our member companies started as family-run enterprises, handed down from generation to generation, and have deep and abiding roots in their local communities.
