Alright folks here we go, the best time of year in Arizona is officially here. Arizona Beer Week 2019 starts on February 7th and all across our great state breweries, restaurants, craft beer bars, and festivals will be celebrating the culture of Arizona craft beer. With dozens of events daily there are plenty of chances for you to get in on the fun. Here are some of our top picks for the Phoenix area.

  1. ONE YEAR IN A BARREL- DIVIDE & HUSSTLE 5 BARREL VERTICAL @ HUSS BREWING TEMPEThursday, February 7th
To kick off beer week Huss is putting on a very special tasting event. Last year Huss teamed up with Great Divide Brewing out of Denver to brew an Imperial Chocolate Porter which was then placed it into five different barrel varieties for our tasting enjoyment. Red wine, tequila, bourbon, rye, and scotch barrel variants of this beer will all be served. This is a great event for the experienced beer lover or those simply looking to expand their palate.
  2. HOP SLAM AND DONUTS @ THE HUNGRY MONKFriday, February 8th
Wake up for the beer, come for the donuts, and stay for the pancakes! A long-standing tradition this rise and drink event is put on by one of the forerunners of our ever-expanding Arizona craft beer scene. Don’t worry we won’t tell your boss why you were late to work today!
  3. THE 19TH ANNUAL ARIZONA STRONG BEER FESTIVALSaturday, February 9th

  6. NERF THIS! BARREL AGED CUVEE BOTTLE RELEASE @ 8-BIT ALEWORKSTuesday, February 12th

  7. ALES FROM THE CRYPT: BARREL AGED RELEASE @ O.H.S.O BREWERYThursday, February 14th
An event like this is the equivalent of your favorite band opening the vaults and releasing never before heard material. Currently anticipating up to seven beers on tap, one of the options to be featured is a 13.2% Bourbon Barrel Aged Breakfast Stout with custom blend coffee, Vermont maple syrup aged, cacao, and Madagascar vanilla beans.
  8. PEDAL HUSS GERMAN BIERGARTEN @ IRENE’S TAPROOMFriday, February 15th
