What the hell is the Ron Swanson Challenge? Well, it’s one of those intense eating challenges that sound good at the time, but basically, each contestant will have 30 minutes to try and shove down eight half-pound burgers topped with 18 slices of cheese and an entire pound of fries. If your gullet can take this meat pounding, come and get ready for one hell of a case of the meat sweats. Winner gets the cost of the challenge for free, as well as happy hour all day, every day. Stay classy, Prescott. - FOR THE LOVE OF DONUTS! AT GRANITE MOUNTAIN BREWINGThursday, February 14th
Arizona Beer Week continues with GMB’s annual Donut+Beer Pairing night. Because yes, beer and donuts go beautifully together. You’ll get to enjoy four 5 oz beer tasters and four half donuts created by local favorite Outlaw Donuts! You’ll get a sugar high you’ll never forget. This is a popular one, so first come, first served! - BEER DINNER WITH MCFATE AT PARK PLAZA AND DELIFriday, February 15th
Scottsdale meets Prescott! Which can only mean one thing: a damn good time. McFate Brewing Company is known for brewing small-batch beers, and that means tasty treats for all. They tend to signify these brews by rotating them often to make sure they’re always exciting and delightfully fresh. The suds will be poured alongside their personal chef’s most delectable food pairings in a 5-course dinner that is guaranteed to have you leaving satisfied, full and wanting more. Spots are limited so be sure to call 928 541-9894 immediately to claim your spot. - NORTHERN ARIZONA CRAFT BEER CRAWL AT THE BARLEY HOUNDSaturday, February 16th
What better way to wrap up Beer Week than with a Craft Beer Crawl?! Liver sadists, (aka “Crawlers”), will begin and end at The Barley Hound. As if there wasn’t enough booze to go around an after-party runs from 5pm until 9pm. For those of you thinking that this is just another beer-soaked drink fest, rest assured that these folks still have a big heart. A portion of sales will benefit Make-A-Wish Arizona! That’s right! Beer and charity! We LOVE that!
